James T. Egan, designer
I've spent six years working in the creative services department of an audiobook publisher designing covers for audiobooks, including two Grammy-nominated titles. This gave me valuable experience working with major publishers and authors and developing a sense of the design conventions of each genre. I'm a self-professed Photoshop nerd and will happily spend hours searching for the right image or the perfect typeface. I focused on graphic arts when earning my bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication, and I have twelve years of experience in advertising, print, and book design.
Kira Rubenthaler, editor
I've been devouring books since I learned to read at the age of three, and I've wanted to be a writer for as long as I can remember. In college, I earned minors in creative writing and Spanish while completing my bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication, and I later went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Teaching, English Education. My career path has always centered around the written word. Over the last twelve years, I have worked as a proofer, a reporter, a newspaper editor, and a high school English teacher, while continuing to read voraciously and write fiction in my free time.
